Established in 2014, the facility is also one of only 11 non-hospital residential treatment centers in Ohio (just 2.7 percent) to provide medically monitored detox services.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment starts with an assessment, which is used to create an individualized treatment plan. While length of stay varies depending on the needs of each client, Woodhaven is among the 17.4 percent of residential facilities in Ohio to offer programs that last longer than 30 days.

In addition to detox and crisis intervention, the residential program includes one-on-one counseling, small group therapy, and case management services.

According to Woodhaven's website, transportation to outpatient treatment can also be provided, which is a service available in a little more than half (57 percent) of Ohio treatment facilities.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Woodhaven's treatment team includes licensed chemical dependency counselors, licensed clinical social workers, case managers, licensed practical nurses, and nurse practitioners. The two individuals polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the facility two and four out of five stars respectively for its staff's level of training and experience.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Smoking is permitted in designated areas, however clients are forbidden from having any cash while in treatment, though loved ones can provide up to $20 per week on a card for clients to use at a snack cart. Cell phones and makeup are prohibited, and clients must bring all of their belongings in a plastic bag (not suitcases or purses).
