Privacy Policy

The short version: seeking addiction treatment is sensitive. We collect the minimum needed to run the directory, we do not sell personal information, and we never sell or share help-seeker contact details for compensation.

What we collect

• Contact/lead forms: name, contact details, and your message — delivered to the facility you chose to contact, and retained for abuse prevention.
• Review submissions: your display name, email (for verification only — never published), and review content.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and rate limiting; approximate geolocation to show nearby facilities.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is disabled by default and loads only if you select “Allow analytics.” If enabled, we send sanitized page categories and event counts such as a call-button click or a successfully completed form. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, search terms, review text, facility names, listing IDs, or form contents to Google. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's local storage and reloading the page.

What we don't do

• Sell personal information.
• Share help-seeker data with anyone other than the facility you explicitly chose to contact.
• Use advertising trackers on treatment-search pages.

42 CFR Part 2 note

TopRatedRehabs is a directory, not a treatment provider, and does not hold substance-use treatment records subject to 42 CFR Part 2. Records created when you enter treatment are held by the facility under its own Part 2 obligations. We design our forms so that contacting a facility through us discloses only what you type, only to that facility.
