What we sell: facilities can purchase a flat-fee VIP subscription for enhanced placement in general search results and premium profile features. VIP placement is always marked with a VIP · Sponsored badge.
What we don't sell: we do not accept payment per referral, per lead, per call, or per admission. We do not sell placement in "top rated" rankings — those are computed only from facility data quality and ratings (see how we rank). We do not sell ratings, reviews, badges of quality, or editorial coverage.
Where ads appear: VIP listings receive priority in general search results (labeled), and sponsored ad units appear in marked ad slots. Organic "top rated" lists on state and city pages never include a paid boost.
Why this matters: paying-per-patient-referral is restricted or criminal in several states (e.g., California SB 1228; Florida's Patient Brokering Act). Our flat-fee, placement-only model is designed so that no one — including us — profits from steering a specific person to a specific facility.
