<p><strong>ABOUT TEEN CHALLENGE KENTUCKY: PRISCILLA’S PLACE</strong></p> <p>Teen Challenge provides <strong>comprehensive, faith-based treatment</strong> for youth, adults, and families with drug and alcohol problems. One of hundreds of Teen Challenge programs across the United States, Teen Challenge of Kentucky’s Priscilla’s Place is a <strong>long-term residential program for women 18 and older</strong>.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Programming at Priscilla’s Place is available at <strong>two different lengths</strong>. The first is a four-phase discipleship program that’s <strong>completed in 12 to 15 months</strong> with three to six months of employment. For those unable to commit to a year or longer, the “First Roots Program” helps women develop a foundation towards recovery in <strong>five to eight weeks</strong>. Beyond her complaints of salty food, Jennifer told of frustrating phone calls “With Techs not being available to allow the calls at times” and “very inconsistent rules.”</p> <p>Despite her complaints, Jennifer gave Priscilla’s’ Place a perfect five stars for its professionalism, treatment effectiveness, and level of safety and comfort, as well as nine out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly she’d recommend it to others.</p> <p>In her five-star review posted to Google, Carolyn referred to Priscilla’s Place as a “Life changing program!” that’s “dedicated to helping women grow and learn more about God and helping them overcome painful issues.”<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small></p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Teen Challenge is a <strong>501(c)(3) nonprofit organization</strong> that receives funding from individuals, businesses, churches, and foundations.
