ABOUT ASSISTED RECOVERY CENTER OF GA INC

Established in 1999 and located in a residential area of Savanna, Georgia, the Assisted Recovery Center of GA Inc. (ARC) offers treatment programs for adults struggling with substance use disorder. Medical detoxification services are available, as is medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence. ARC is one of just 55 (4 percent) treatment facilities in Georgia to offer an opioid treatment program.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

ARC's treatment philosophy is based on the disease model of addiction and utilizes evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive restructuring. While the facility is not 12-step based, it does encourage clients to participate in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and/or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings if they find them helpful.

All clients receive a bio-psycho-social assessment to identify underlying issues and help inform a personalized treatment plan. Detoxification may take place at an apartment or a hotel room per the client's preference and desire for anonymity.

According to ARC's website, the rehab provides Inpatient treatment, which is short-term and can last as little as seven days. The one staff member surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, however, specifically stated that there is no inpatient treatment program.

Outpatient options include a standard outpatient program (OP), which meets at least twice a week for 15 hours of group therapy and 10 hours of either individual or family therapy. The intensive outpatient (IOP) program works on the same model but doubles the amount of individual/family therapy, while day treatment tasks clients with meeting three hours per day for treatment. Specialized tracks for executives and professionals are also available.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

There is no information regarding Assisted Recovery Center's accreditations or staff credentials at time of writing.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Photos on ARC's website indicate that inpatient clients live in a casual apartment complex with an outdoor pool. Typically, non-hospital based opioid treatment programs usually have a higher median of 32 residential clients at any given time.β

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

While Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from this facilityβs alumni, ARC earned a perfect average rating of five out of five stars based on four Google reviews[1]. "They use the latest and most effective tools that medical science has to offer in treating addiction to alcohol or opiate drugs," Brad wrote in a representative review.

WHAT STAFF SAY

The one staff member polled by Rehabs.com to date gave ARC five out of five stars for its treatment effectiveness and praised the facility for its always-available staff, it's ambulatory detox, and its high success rates.

FINANCING

ARC accepts private insurance, although clients must pre-certify with their insurance companies before entering treatment to receive any available coverage. Though clients are encouraged to prepay via cash, check, or card (with discounts for these options), clients may also pay a 50% down payment and pay the rest over a two-year plan or apply for financial loaning through M-LEND. Fees include screening assessments and detox medications.

[1] GoogleReviews
