<p><strong>ABOUT CATHOLIC FAMILY CENTER - RESTART OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION</strong></p> <p>Located in Rochester, N.Y. near Lake Huron, Catholic Family Center provides a full continuum of treatment for youth and adults (as well as their families) who are struggling with a behavioral health or substance abuse disorder. </p> <p>The <strong>outpatient substance abuse program</strong> is for those 18 years and up who have a history of mental health and chemical dependency disorders and who are "experiencing challenges with key life skills."</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The outpatient rehab can facilitate treatment through all stages of recovery <strong>from stabilization to relapse prevention.</strong> Holistic treatment that heals the person as a whole is the focus. The center provides <strong>evaluations and treatment</strong> for substance abuse and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring mental health disorders</a> in this day program for adults. </p> <p>Clients receive <strong>individual, group, and family therapy</strong> as part of their personalized treatment plans, and staff use evidence-based practices such as the <strong>motivational approach.</strong> There is also treatment for trauma, GED support, medication management through <strong>Suboxone,</strong> a <strong>specialized track for Spanish-speaking clients, gender-specific programming</strong>, and on-site alcoholics anonymous (AA) and narcotics anonymous (NA) meetings.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Catholic Family Center employs about 400 professionals across all its programs. Another reviewer said that staff "spoke to me like garbage."</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has received a single survey response to date, and it is from a staff member who gave <strong>positive ratings</strong>. Four and five out of five stars were awarded across the board other than for 12-Step inclusion with was only given two stars, suggesting that such programs are lacking.
