<p><strong>ABOUT COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, INC. — WOMEN’S RESIDENTIAL</strong></p> <p>Community Programs, Inc. (CPI) operates two residential facilities — one for men and one for women — for individuals struggling with substance abuse and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a> in the area of the Waterford Township, northwest of Detroit, Mich. This particular facility offers residential treatment for women, specializing in addiction treatment, detoxification, and relapse prevention. The center’s <strong>gender-responsive services</strong> include sessions on processing emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, developing parenting skills, and gaining a sense of self-worth. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p><strong>All treatment is handled by female staff</strong> including a clinical manager, supervisor, and residential and outpatient counselors. The treatment team is made up of master’s level therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, and social workers. Community Programs, Inc. is licensed by the State of Michigan and is one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MI16.pdf" target="_blank">260 (about 54 percent) of Michican facilities to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)</a>. </p> <p>Reviewers polled by Rehabs.com at time of writing were more mixed when considering the staff's level of training and experience.
