<p><strong>ABOUT SOBA MESA</strong></p> <p>Located in Mesa, Ariz., SOBA Mesa is a drug and alcohol treatment facility for adults. The center offers <strong>residential, outpatient, sober living, and detoxification treatment options.</strong> SOBA focuses on taking a holistic approach to programming and stresses individual treatment planning as the key to success.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Medically supervised detoxification is provided at our 20 bed inpatient facility in Mesa. The detox process is monitored 24 hours per day by trained professionals, and is <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/AZ16.pdf" target="_blank">one of across 37 the state</a> (10 percent) to offer medically supervised detox. Once a client is through the detox program, the staff determines whether residential or outpatient treatment is the best course of action. </p> <p>Secondary <strong>treatment typically lasts 30 to 90 days</strong> and is based in <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/did-aa-save-my-life/" target="_blank">the 12-Steps</a>. The residential program is highly structured, with individual and group therapy, and clients typically complete residency before switching to a day patient program. The outpatient program Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BST).</p> <p>Towards the end of a client’s stay, they are meant to work toward long term goals and may even obtain employment.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The staff at SOBA consists of a board certified addictionologist and Medical Doctor, case worker, and a clinical director.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The detox facility has 20 beds. The facility offers spacious bedrooms, with TV, stereo/CD player high-speed Internet access. The campus has a swimming pool, meditation area and housekeeping service. Transportation to necessary appointments and meetings are arranged on a regular basis. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Twelve reviewers on Facebook gave the center a perfect five star rating.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> Alums praised the staff and the effectiveness of treatment. One commenter wrote, “The best place you could find yourself. This place saved my life!
