<p><strong>ABOUT MHMR RECOVERY CENTER</strong></p> <p>MHMR Recovery Center is part of the second largest community center in Texas, which has been in operation since 1969. Located in Fort Worth, the trauma-sensitive substance abuse treatment facility provides <strong>residential treatment and inpatient and outpatient detox services for adults and adolescents</strong> seeking treatment for substance abuse disorders. Additional addiction-related, mental health, and disabilities services are available for adults and adolescents through four other MHMR facilities in the area.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The treatment process at the MHMR Recovery Center focuses on providing clients with the resources needed to begin their recovery. This includes <strong>detox services</strong>, which are available on an inpatient or ambulatory (outpatient) basis. These programs last around <strong>five days</strong> based on the clients’ needs. MHMR Recovery Center is among the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/TX16.pdf" target="_blank">44 non-hospital facilities in Texas</a> to provide outpatient detox services. </p> <p>The detox program uses a range of treatments to manage and ease the symptoms of withdrawal. These include <strong>auricular acupuncture</strong>, individual and group counseling, medical monitoring, <strong>Suboxone-assisted withdrawal</strong>, and assistance with placement and referrals for continued care. </p> <p>Residential detoxification takes place in a 20-bed unit over a five-day stay. Case management, HIV testing, and referrals to community services and facilities are also available. Outpatient treatments are offered through other Tarrant County MHMR facilities, including one <strong>Spanish-speaking</strong> outpatient facility. In treatment, adolescents have access to many of the same services as adults, but with a focus on the needs of their age group. Many of the treatment options focus on group-based activities. <strong>Family counseling</strong> is also a major component of adolescent treatment.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>MHMR staffs more than 2,000 employees. All staff members are appropriately licensed, including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, teachers, dietitians, social workers, and case managers. The facility is a part of the 28% of <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/2016_NSSATS.pdf" target="_blank">CARF-accredited facilities across the U.S.</a>.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The MHMR Recovery Center operates several facilities across the county that provide interconnected services. The Bill Gregory facility is a 20-bed rehab center. The Pine Street Rehab Facility has 50 beds. Clients stay in <strong>shared rooms</strong> in facilities that are focused on providing a relaxed atmosphere conducive to recovery. In these facilities, clients have access to kitchen and home-care services. Clients are also monitored 24/7 by medical and counseling staff members.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The single alum who provided feedback to Rehabs.com about MHMR at the time of this writing affirmed that the treatment was worth the cost, writing: “I owe them my life.” D.W. rated the level of staff support, the staff's level of training and experience, and the level of respect demonstrated toward clients five out of five stars.
