The CTAD has both an inpatient psychiatric unit as well as outpatient programs, all of which combine <strong>group therapy and one-on-one counseling</strong>. Where needed, <strong>medication management</strong> is also available.</p> <p>In addition to its services for SUDs, the University Drive Campus treats mental health problems commonly experienced amongst veterans. Another goal of treatment is to help veterans <strong>improve their relationships</strong> with their families and communities.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>As an organization, the VAPHS is led by a team is led by a team of master’s level professionals and above. These include a registered nurse (RN), a medical doctor, and a master’s level social worker (MSW).</p> <p>To date, the single individual polled by Rehabs.com on the matter gave their program three out of five stars for the staff’s level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The University Drive Campus has 78 psychiatric beds, as well as a special building that provides accommodations to the families of admitted veterans. On one side, C.T. developed “Great learning tools” and claimed the program was “Very helpful,” awarding the University Drive Campus four or five out of five stars for areas such as treatment effectiveness, exercise and leisure, family programming, holistic options, and the facility’s state of cleanliness. Another alum, however, told Rehabs.com that VAPHS was “not a good facility to try to recover at,” as there was “little time” for individualized attention.</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The single loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com to date shared details of a positive treatment experience.
