<p><strong>ABOUT UNISON BEHAVIORAL HEALTH GROUP</strong></p> <p>For more than 40 years, Unison Behavioral Health Group has provided <strong>comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment services</strong> for individuals and families throughout Northwest Ohio. Today, The Joint-Commission accredited nonprofit operates alcohol and drug treatment programs for adolescents and adults. <strong>Medication assisted treatment (MAT)</strong> is available to treat opiate addictions. It is one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/OH16.pdf" target="_blank">325 nonprofit facilities</a> throughout the state of Ohio.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Upon completion of an initial intake process, <strong>adults and adolescents (ages 11 to 18)</strong> struggling with addiction have access to two age-specific programs. There's also a <strong>Dual Recovery track</strong> for those with co-occurring disorders--one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/OH16.pdf" target="_blank">182 facilities</a> in the state to do so.</p> <p>Treatment programming for adults employs the <a href="https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/principles-drug-addiction-treatment-research-based-guide-third-edition/evidence-based-approaches-to-drug-addiction-treatment/behavioral-3" target="_blank">Matrix Model</a>, designed to help clients cultivate sober and healthy lifestyles. Adults can expect one-on-one, family, and group therapy sessions, case management services, as well as <strong>specialized groups</strong> centered around parenting, codependency, and trauma.</p> <p>To <strong>help teens</strong> get back on the right track, the facility takes a <strong>"whole person" approach</strong> in working closely with parents, schools, and the juvenile court system. The two loved ones had very different opinions of the facility. One anonymous loved one gave the facility moderate ratings across all areas, including holistic offerings and family participation. She felt the facility was a pleasant place for her loved one to undergo rehabilitation, adding that she would recommend this facility to someone who was considering treatment.</p> <p>The second loved one gave the facility low ratings.
