<p><strong>ABOUT CORNERSTONE OF RECOVERY</strong></p> <p>Cornerstone of Recovery is an <strong>outpatient treatment center i</strong>n Columbus, Ohio. The facility is dedicated to helping adult men and women, ages 18 and up, who are struggling with substance abuse. The assessment is used to develop an individualized treatment plan.</p> <p>Cornerstone of Recovery offers <strong>both morning and evening treatment for IOP,</strong> which provides clients (who must be free of medical issues) with a range of treatment approaches and practices.</p> <p>Over the course of the 10-week program, clients are guided through a <strong>12-step recovery</strong> model as they develop coping and other essential life skills through <strong>group therapy and one-on-one counseling</strong> sessions. In addition, Cornerstone offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. Lastly, those interested have access to meditation and spiritual guidance. The center’s website notes the Cornerstone also treats psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each person in treatment.</p> <p>On the first and third Saturday of each month, the center invites families and significant others to learn about the disease of chemical dependency. For up to 18 months after they’ve completed IOP care, clients receive additional support through <strong>continuous care programming</strong>.</p> <p>Along with IOP, Cornerstone offers family therapy and education and individual therapy.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center’s website indicates the clinical team consists of licensed independent chemical dependency counselors (LICDS) and other master’s level addiction counselors.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>To date, Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from Cornerstone of Recovery's alumni, affiliated friends or family, or staff; however, the center's Facebook page, which can be monitored by staff, shows a rating of 4.6 out of five stars from 665 reviewers.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small></p> <p>In a review representative of most alumni feedback, alum Brandi wrote, "This place holds a very special place in my heart.
