<p><strong>ABOUT COLUMBUS AREA INTEGRATED HEALTH SERVICES INC.</strong></p> <p>Located in Columbus, Ohio, Columbus Area Integrated Health Services Inc. offers a wide range of health care services including <strong>outpatient counseling services, residential, intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, and sober living.</strong> A Suboxone program is also available.</p> <p>According to CAIHS’ website, the center’s mission is “to provide culturally competent behavioral health, primary care, and wellness services.”</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the CAIHS’ website, the <strong>outpatient program includes individual, group, couple or marriage, and family counseling.</strong> For those addicted to opiates, there is a Camata Suboxone team that specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating this dependency.</p> <p>CAIHS runs The Bell Center Africentric Therapeutic Community. It is a six- to nine-month residential alcohol and drug treatment program, and is for men who are 21 and older. The residents at the center are responsible for the day-to-day functions of the community.</p> <p>The Columbus Area also owns the Kendall Manor, which is a <strong>transitional house for adults trying to develop the skills needed for independent living.</strong> Clients in the Kendall Manor are required to commit to a 12-month program, and need to participate in house responsibilities.</p> <p>The center’s website indicates that Next Generation Housing is made up of four properties that provide <strong>permanent, supportive housing</strong> as well as mental health services for adults with psychiatric disabilities.</p> <p>The facility also provides treatment and runs <strong>specialized programs for youth</strong>. Additional services include after-school tutoring, school-based life skills groups, educational workshops, and summer camps. Programs are designed to treat anything from mood disorders to ADHD to autism spectrum disorder (ASD).</p> <p>The center also offers some <strong>re-entry programs for individuals who are being released from incarceration,</strong> as well as prevention services and employment aid.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center’s website indicates the treatment team includes physicians who specialize in addiction treatment, chemical dependency therapists, nurses, social workers, and psychiatrists.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>According to the center’s website, The Bell Center Africentric Therapeutic Community can house up to 35 residents at a time. It has a weight room and plenty of outdoor space.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The single alum surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing <strong>gave a mixed review.</strong> While the alum gave the facility poor marks when asked if they would recommend the center, they also wrote: “Suboxone treatment was effective helped with withdrawal and cravings got me clean and its been 5 years.” However, the alum accused the center of sharing their medical information.</p> <p>CAIHS’ Facebook page, which it manages, has an <strong>average of 3.8 out of five stars from six reviewers</strong> at the time of this writing.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> Alum Jessica gave the center two stars and wrote: “They are always behind… I’ve had sooo much trouble over the past year being here.”</p> <p>Additional commentary was more positive. Another alum, Debi, gave five stars and wrote on Facebook: “This is the greatest place and the people who work here are just so caring and so Amazing! Thank you for all you do for me.”</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>At the time of this writing, there is no information regarding cost of treatment on CAIHS’ website.
