UNION CENTER</strong></p> <p>Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. operates a network of more than 30 facilities in North Carolina that provide treatment services for individuals struggling with mental health conditions, substance use disorder, and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">dual diagnosis</a>. It's one of 184 nonprofit substance abuse treatment facilities in North Carolina, which make up <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NC17.pdf" target="_blank">39 percent</a> of all treatment facilities in the state. The Union Center location in Monroe, North Carolina, offers <strong>outpatient treatment</strong> and <strong>crisis intervention</strong>, along with psychiatric care and medical services.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Treatment at Union Center begins with a <strong>substance abuse assessment</strong> and psychiatric evaluation. The <strong>intensive outpatient program (IOP)</strong> -- a modality offered by <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NC17.pdf" target="_blank">41.1 percent</a> of treatment facilities in North Carolina -- adds <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/sad-lets-talk-about-seasonal-affective-disorder-and-relapse/" target="_blank">relapse prevention training</a> and requires a minimum of nine treatment hours per week.</p> <p>Union Center also provides <strong>intensive in-home programming for children and adolescents</strong> dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues. To date, the one alumni surveyed by Rehabs.com gave the facility five out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>R.O., the one former client polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, gave the Union Center facility positive feedback and awarded it five out of five stars for its counseling options, its treatment of <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>, its cleanliness, and its family participation. When asked, on a scale from one to five, if they would recommend the facility, the alum gave a rating of five. "Counselors were encouraging, aftercare was a strength," the reviewer wrote.</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS AND FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>While Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from this facility’s affiliated friends or family members, the Union Center location earned an <strong>average rating of two out of five stars</strong> based on six reviews<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small>, three of which were from loved ones.
