One of 23 Daymark facilities, Kannapolis Crisis Recovery (KCR), located 27-miles north of Charlotte, offers <strong>outpatient services, psychiatric and medical services, and crisis intervention</strong> to adults and children aged three and over. Along with its outpatient services, KCR also provides non-hospital medical detox, psychiatry and medical services, and facility-based crisis services.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Upon client admission, clinicians at Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. Kannapolis Crisis Recovery (KCR) provide an initial physical and psychiatric evaluation, and its crisis intervention services are <strong>available 24 hours</strong> per day. The primary goal of the facility is to <strong>stabilize a client</strong> and refer them to an appropriate treatment program. Clients needing immediate services are enrolled in the stabilization program where they are medically and psychiatrically treated. Once the client is stable, he or she is transferred to another program for continued treatment. </p> <p>KCR generally refers clients to the outpatient program which uses evidence-based treatments including <strong>counseling and psychotherapy</strong>. Group, individual, and family therapy are also used extensively in the program. KCR also encourages its staff to use treatments such as <strong>cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)</strong>, <strong>motivational interviewing (MI)</strong> or other evidence-based treatments depending upon the client’s needs and treatment objectives. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until at 5 p.m. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. is CARF-accredited. Daymark’s executive staff include medical doctors, a licensed psychologist, a licensed professional counselor, and a licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree in social work.
