<p><strong>ABOUT BJC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH-SERVICES</strong></p> <p>BJC Behavioral Health operates four facilities in St. Louis, Bridgeton, and Farmington, Mo. The organization provides <strong>outpatient and community-based treatment and early intervention services</strong> for adults, and outpatient and school-based services for children struggling with a range of mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance use disorder. BJC is a point of entry for individuals seeking services through the <strong>Missouri Department of Mental Health</strong>.</p> <p>BJC Behavioral Health is owned by the major network BJC Healthcare, which operates 15 hospitals and numerous other facilities in Missouri and Illinois. The behavioral health locations are among the <a href="https://www.bjc.org/about-us/facts-figures" target="_blank">71.7 percent</a> of Missouri addiction treatment facilities running as <strong>private nonprofits.</strong></p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Substance use disorder is treated on an individualized, outpatient basis. There is currently no further information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff, however, the single individual polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the organization four out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>As a Healthcare Home, BJC Behavioral Health <strong>offers medical healthcare</strong> as well as mental health services. According to the facility's website: "A Healthcare Home is a 'whole person' approach of delivering health care, which includes managing a full array of physical and behavioral health needs as well as long-term community care services and supports."
