<p><strong>ABOUT CRITTENTON CHILDREN’S CENTER</strong></p> <p>Located in Kansas City, Mo., Crittenton Children’s Center (CCC) offers an <strong>intensive outpatient program (IOP) care for adolescents</strong> struggling with alcoholism or substance abuse. This is one of the only <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MO16.pdf" target="_blank">45 (15.7 percent)</a> treatment centers in the state with <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/is-my-child-just-experimenting/" target="_blank">specifically-tailored programming for adolescents.</a>There is also a <strong>residential treatment program</strong> for adolescents with behavioral issues stemming from mental illness, neglect, or abuse.</p> <p>While medically supervised detox is not available within this program, it is available through Saint Luke’s Health System, which the Crittenton Children’s Center is a part.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Before treatment begins, a <strong>thorough assessment</strong> is completed to determine which program or service is most appropriate. Additionally, other services for trauma and foster care are offered.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>CCC's treatment team includes psychiatrists, physicians, registered nurses, and certified counselors. The single loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com to date awarded four stars for the staff's level of experience and training. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Crittenton Children’s Center offers its residential psychiatric services in a <strong>54-bed hospital setting</strong>. A <strong>sliding fee scale</strong> is available for those who need financial assistance. The sole loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com to date provided a five-star rating for the center's affordability. The facility is among the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MO17.pdf" target="_blank">51.8 percent of Missouri facilities</a> to accept federal military insurance.</p> <p><strong>CONCLUSION</strong></p> <p>In 2014, 26 Missouri counties began to replicate <a href="https://www.prweb.com/releases/2014/03/prweb11697376.htm" target="_blank">CCC's Trauma Smart program</a>, a treatment approach that addresses the affects of early childhood trauma.
