DUI programming may be designed to satisfy state requirements for license reinstatement. </p> <p>Harbel Prevention and Recovery Center offers <strong>early intervention services for teens who are at risk of abusing substances</strong>. In the state of Maryland, <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/NSDUHsaePercents2016/NSDUHsaePercents2016.pdf" target="_blank">3.02 percent of adolescents</a> ages 12 to 17 exhibited illicit drug use disorder as of 2016. Harbel also outreaches to schools to provide substance abuse treatment. </p> <p>The treatment center accepts referrals from schools, employers, friends, and family. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center's website notes the treatment team includes counselors, a program director, and clinical director. In Maryland, <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/report_3059/ShortReport-3059.pdf" target="_blank">97.8 percent of</a> all substance abuse treatment facilities have continuing education requirements for staff. This former client gave five out of five stars for the majority of categories, including counseling options, the level of family participation, and overall treatment effectiveness. Strongly agreeing with the center's effectiveness in treating co-occurring disorders, and indicating that she would recommend this center to others, D.C. wrote: "I just found it to be very helpful. I currently have 5 yrs clean."</p> <p>The 27 individuals who left Google reviews for the facility at the time of this writing generated an average rating of <strong>4.2 out of five stars</strong>, and most individuals left positive commentary.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> "The staff was extremely resourceful in getting the services that i needed," one alum wrote. </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to the center's website, Harbel Community Organization accepts private insurances along with being one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MD16.pdf" target="_blank">299 (74.4 percent)</a> treatment centers in the state to accept Medicaid.
