<p><strong>ABOUT VALLEY HOPE OF WICHITA</strong></p> <p>One of 102 private, nonprofit facilities in Kansas (and one of 16 different locations in seven states belonging to the nonprofit organization Valley Hope), Valley Hope of Wichita is an <strong>outpatient rehab facility</strong> that provides adults and families with comprehensive treatment at both <strong>traditional and intensive levels</strong>.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The process at Valley Hope of Wichita begins with an <strong>assessment and evaluation</strong> to determine an effective treatment approach. The facility offers an <strong>intensive outpatient program (IOP)</strong>, which combines individual and group therapy with drug and alcohol education and introduces clients to the 12-Step philosophy. The <strong>IOP runs for six weeks</strong> and meets three times per week for a minimum of three hours each session.</p> <p>The facility’s <strong>continuing care program</strong>, which meets for a one-hour group session for as long as necessary, addresses relapse prevention and supports a healthy lifestyle. A cornerstone of Valley Hope’s outpatient treatment, <strong>family care</strong> helps family members overcome feelings of guilt, fear, and resentment.</p> <p>Group therapy is also offered remotely by way of Valley Hope <strong>Telehealth</strong>. In this online program, clients can connect with counselors and peers 24/7 and make use of <strong>videoconferencing for live group sessions</strong>.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>As an organization, Valley Hope boasts a multidisciplinary staff of counselors, physicians, nurses, and psychologists.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The two alumni polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave the facility mostly positive feedback. Alum Michelle gave four out of five stars in indicating how strongly she’d recommend the facility, as well as four-star ratings for the staff’s level of training and experience, the level of family participation, and the treatment for co-occurring disorders, amongst other areas.
