Originally established as a halfway house in 1976, the nonprofit organization aims to provide an alternative, homelike option to more institutionalized treatment settings. Detox is not provided on-site. Those who wish to enter the program must undergo an application process and be willing to submit to regular drug testing.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Prior to admission, clients first undergo a comprehensive screening process. However, most clients remain on-site for about six months. During this time, they are expected to participate in “Recovery Dynamics” and “Back to Basics,” two programs that explore and explain addiction recovery through process groups and individual assignments. Twelve-step meetings are held on-site once a day, and clients are required to find a sponsor and attend at least three meetings a week.
