Inpatients of the 21-bed program reside in sparsely furnished shared bedrooms. The unit also has a communal dining area and outdoor patio.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The five alumni polled by Rehabs.com to date shared details of mostly positive treatment experiences with Kootenai Health. Most indicated that they’d recommend the facility to others, providing four or five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness.</p> <p>Several respondents highlighted the amount of personalized attention available from a compassionate staff. “It's a facility that allows about 15 patients at a time,” noted Belinda. “It allowed for more individualized treatment.” As a group, alumni told of “extremely caring and complete care” and a “very supportive” staff. “It's been the third treatment center I've been to and I now understand my disease clearly,” added R.K.</p> <p>Complaints were scarce: one alum succinctly labeled the food as “bad,” however, the four others each gave five out of five stars for the hospital's quality of meals.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Kootenai Health <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/ID17.pdf" target="_blank">accepts most commercial insurance plans - making it one of just 92 (74.2 percent of) centers in the state of Idaho to do so</a> - and Medicare and Medicaid.
