Treatment also incorporates addiction education, goal setting, and life-skills development opportunities, including resume writing classes, interview prep, and basic computer skills courses. Clients are expected to complete phase two with improved self-esteem and healthier relationships with friends and family members.

Phase three, which is optional, requires men to find work outside of the mission or participate in work therapy.
