Clients learn <strong>daily living skills</strong> and proper nutrition while in treatment. They may participate in <strong><a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help/" target="_blank">family sessions and workshops</a></strong>, as needed.</p> <p>GraceWay also holds its residents to <strong>random drug screenings</strong>. Though length of stay ultimately depends on each client’s individual needs, staff re-evaluate each client’s need for programming every <strong>30 days</strong>, making it one of only <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/GA16.pdf" target="_blank">54 facilities (17.2 percent) in Georgia</a> to offer long-term residential care. <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">Aftercare services</a> are available for those who complete residential treatment.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The team at GraceWay consists of a licensed master social worker and addiction counselors. GraceWay is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The facility is accredited by the following organizations: GARR, NARR, and GACCP.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Residents stay at GraceWay’s stately blue <strong>Victorian home</strong>, which is within walking distance to churches, a public library, parks, museums, and bike trails. Eventually, residents move on to <strong>transitional apartments</strong> located next door to the residence called “The Way” Sober Living Apartments. “The Way” houses women in nine two-bedroom apartments.</p> <p>Women <strong>share rooms</strong> and have access to on-site laundry machines. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas. Residents will get a gym membership.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>To date, Rehabs.com has received <strong>mixed feedback</strong> from eight alumni. Those who gave negative feedback cited <strong>unprofessional staff and lack of affordability as weaknesses</strong>. There were also two alumni who mentioned “exorcisms” taking place.
