<p><strong>ABOUT STEPPING SOBER DRUG REHAB CENTERS</strong></p> <p>Located in North Palm Beach, Fla., Stepping Sober Drug Rehab Centers offers <strong>sober living facilities with an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults seeking treatment for substance abuse</strong>. Detox is offered on-site, including <strong>medication-assisted therapy using Suboxone</strong> for clients dependent upon opiates, as well as a <strong>specialized detox program focused on treating couples</strong>. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Treatment at Stepping Sober Drug Rehab Centers begins with an assessment by medical personnel to determine their needed level of care. Clients meet with a medical team as well as admissions specialists to determine if they are a good fit for the program. Once approved, clients can be enrolled in a detox program or a sober living facility for treatment. </p> <p>Treatment consists of individual and group therapy, as well as step work from <strong>12-steps programs like AA and NA</strong>. Treatment also includes medication management using Suboxone to address withdrawal symptoms. Stepping Sober also uses <strong>eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR),</strong> which is used primarily to treat trauma-related problems, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, phobias and panic attacks, sexual addictions, eating disorders, and more.</p> <p>A <strong>couples treatment program</strong> allows couples to receive treatment for either one or both partners in the relationship. The program has two phases: in phase one, clients receive intensive training about the disease of addiction and receive five days of group therapy and two sessions of partner counseling per week. In phase two, partners together develop a treatment plan, <strong>attend individual and group therapy sessions together</strong>, and can participate in activities including bowling, paintball, ice skating, and boating. Couples housing is available as well.</p> <p>Family participation is encouraged throughout treatment, and services can be made available to family members beyond the couples treatment program. Family members can receive counseling on a weekly basis. Families can also participate in many of the treatment options including group therapy and other options. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team at Stepping Sober Drug Rehab Centers includes physicians, psychiatrists, <strong>EMDR-trained clinicians</strong>, and therapists. Two individuals polled by Rehabs.com to date rated staff’s level of training and <br /> experience five out of five stars.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Stepping Sober Drug Rehab Centers has a sober living facility that has <strong>41 beds</strong>. The facility has a modern design, which is meant to make clients feel at home during treatment. Clients stay in private rooms or small group rooms. Clients have access to a range of amenities including high-speed Internet, a full kitchen, and communal rooms with TVs and cable programming. There is also an outdoor patio with a grill. Clients also get a membership to a nearby gym and transportation is made available. </p> <p>Clients also have access to a range of services to help them get back into the community successfully. Vocational assistance including <strong>specialized services including GED education</strong>, pro-bono legal help, professional resume writing, <strong>job development</strong>, interview preparation, and clothes lending closets are provided. While living in the facility, <strong>all clients</strong> are expected to find employment while participating in the IOP program.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>At time of writing, two alumni to leave users reviews on Rehabs.com offered <strong>negative feedback</strong> regarding the facility. Alum Christina, who was court-ordered to attend the program, gave Stepping Sober mixed ratings, including two out of five stars for its cleanliness, its exercise, and its leisure activities, three stars for its accommodations and amenities, four stars for its staff support, and five stars for its overall quality of group therapy sessions.</p> <p>Another anonymous alum was largely negative, giving the facility low one-star ratings for its accommodations and amenities, and its meals and nutrition. They barely rated the facility's treatment effectiveness higher with a two-star rating. "This facility is not for anyone who has anxiety or fear of small spaces," the anonymous alum wrote, "It is not recommended for anyone who is uncomfortable with have absolutely zero free time, accommodations or comfortable living situations or anyone who has a problem sharing a room and or bathroom with four people." </p> <p>On Google, the facility received <strong>two five out of five star reviews and one four out of five star review.</strong> <small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> Alum Michael wrote in a representative review: “The intensive outpatient program at this drug treatment center was very valuable in my recovery from alcohol addiction, The staff is very caring and helpful in getting to the core issues.”</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The single loved one polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, whose mother attended Stepping Sober, gave the facility mostly positive feedback. She awarded the facility mostly four out of five stars and higher for its family participation, its treatment effectiveness, its counseling options, and its staff’s level of training and experience. Her only complaint was that “it could be cleaner and generally needs maintenance work done.”</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Stepping Sober Drug Rehab Centers accepts several PPO insurance plans including Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna.
