<p><strong>ABOUT RECOVERY RESTART</strong></p> <p>Located in Boynton Beach, Fla., Recovery Restart is an all male treatment center, and it offers <strong>partial hospitalization and supportive housing</strong> treatment to men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, <strong>each client's treatment plan is tailored to their needs</strong>, and Recovery Restart utilizes the <strong>Florida Model of substance abuse treatment</strong>. Residents have the option to choose a faith-based approach. </p> <p>The center's <strong>drug and alcohol interventions</strong> are a two or three day process. During the process, the treatment team empowers, educates, and changed the dynamics in a family to guide the person struggling with addiction to enter treatment. Recovery Restart also offers crisis interventions. </p> <p>The partial hospitalization program is the clinical part of substance abuse treatment. Programming includes <strong>individual and group therapy, life skills training, 12-step programs,</strong> art and craft, and individualizes program components. </p> <p>Recovery Restart's supportive housing allows resident to live in a house instead of a hospital during treatment. <strong>Residents are transported to the center for treatment.</strong> </p> <p>The treatment team utilizes multiple therapies such as PTSD therapy, cognitive therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, exposure therapy, family therapy, relaxation therapy, psychotherapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and rational emotional behavioral therapy. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center's website notes the treatment team includes interventionist, counselors, case managers, and therapists. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The facility's website indicates the supportive housing has several bedrooms, a kitchen, juice and coffee bar, <strong>a pool, fire pit, barbecue pit, green space, a hot tub, and hammock.</strong> </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has yet to receive any reviews from this facility’s former clients. However, the two individuals who left reviews for Recovery Restart on Yelp at the time of this writing provided negative feedback, and one out of five star reviews.<small class="footnote"><a href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> </p> <p>"These people are thieves and liars," Gene wrote. "My family forked over $20,000 to them while I was in detox. We signed nothing and Recovery performed zero work on my behalf...I have been sober now for eight months now without their help and despite their threatening texts to me and my family. Stay away from these people. They are not honest."</p> <p>The other reviewer provided a similar review, and wrote they were given "false promises." </p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The lone loved one polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing left negative feedback, and indicated they would not recommend the treatment center. </p> <p>The parent gave one out of five stars for a number of categories, including holistic offerings, treatment effectiveness, counseling options, and family involvement. </p> <p>"I don't believe they cared about the recovering addict," they wrote. </p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has yet to receive any reviews from this facility’s staff members, however, the three employees who left reviews on Indeed at the time of this writing provided mostly positive feedback. <small class="footnote"><a href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small></p> <p>Two people left three out of five star reviews, and the other employee left a five star review. </p> <p>"My co-workers were great best part about the day was seeing how much they care about each client and want to impact each of them in a positive way. The activities were fun and made the job a great place to work.
