<p><strong>ABOUT ARAPAHOE HOUSE WRIGHT CENTER - WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO</strong></p> <p>The Wheat Ridge, Colo. location is one of eleven different treatment locations of the Arapahoe House Wright Center. The company has offered rehab services since 1975. This facility offers <strong>residential, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children with alcohol and drug addiction, as well as</strong> <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. Detox services are available in a non-hospital setting.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Arapahoe House Wright Center utilizes <strong>evidence-based treatment approaches and national models of care, as well as 12 steps</strong>. Treatment lasts anywhere from 14 to 90 days based on individual client needs. Many clients are referred through the court system.</p> <p><strong>Residential treatment</strong> includes 24-hour supervision and uses medically-assisted treatments. For stabilization purposes. There are specialized tracks available for teens, pregnant women, women with small children, and offenders. After an initial period of adjustment, family participation and communication is encouraged.</p> <p>Those enrolled in the <strong>outpatient program</strong> attend individual and group therapy sessions, while still attending school classes or going to work. The traditional outpatient program consists of group meetings once a week for two hours. An <strong>intensive outpatient</strong> option is available that includes group therapy three times per week for three hours each meeting. Discussion focuses on skills building and relapse prevention.</p> <p>Currently, the facility offers detox services for adults over 18 years of age. Detox typically takes 12 to 72 hours to complete. In December 2016, Arapahoe house announced that it would <a href="http://www.denverpost.com/2016/12/16/arapahoe-house-close-denver-detox-centers/" target="_blank">stop providing detox services</a> possibly sometime in late 2017.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team consists of addiction technicians, nurses, psychiatrists, and licensed therapists. Administrative staff members are on-site as well to participate in initial assessments and to provide financial assistance. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The Arapahoe House Wright Center is a tobacco-free treatment facility.
