Referrals to outside care are provided when appropriate.</p> <p>The Victorville intensive outpatient program (IOP) is primarily based in <strong>group counseling and education</strong>. Individual counseling sessions are also available, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help" target="_blank">families</a> are highly encouraged to participate in an array of treatment options as well.</p> <p>Clients seeking assistance in meeting Department of Transportation licensing and other industry-based professional requirements related to drug or alcohol use can participate in a five- or 10-session educational program. The programs include drug testing. </p> <p>Pine Ridge offers extensive <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare services</a>, which include group, individual, and family sessions for up to a year following completion of an IOP.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The director of Pine Ridge Treatment Centers is a certified addictionologist with a doctorate in public health. Other treatment team member maintain certifications in counseling and most have experience working with 12-step groups, according to the facility's website.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com had not yet received feedback from any Pine Ridge Treatment Center alumni of the Victorville programs at the time of this writing.
