<p><strong>ABOUT THE HOUSE OF ACTS, INC.</strong></p> <p>Located in Vallejo, Calif., The House of Acts is a non-profit, <strong>faith-based, transitional housing program for adults</strong> recovering from chemical dependency. The House of Acts operates five facilities: two gender-specific facilities, a co-ed facility, a young adult facility, and a sober living facility. As a transitional facility, residents are able to implement these coping skills in daily life. </p> <p><strong>Family participation</strong> is encouraged throughout the treatment process. There are educational groups for families regarding various topics, including relapse prevention, HIV, addiction, and parenting skills.
