During all levels of care, clients may also be required to attend 12-step meetings on-site and within the community.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Guided by a clinical director board-certified in addiction medicine, Cornerstone employs over 70 staff members, including certified addiction specialists, therapists, case managers, and sober living home managers. When necessary, clients can also work with an alternative sentencing manager. Cornerstone is among the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/CA16.pdf" target="_blank">11.7 percent</a> of treatment facilities in California to be certified by the Joint Commission.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Cornerstone's website depicts a <strong>home-like residence</strong>, complete with furnished bedrooms and a large, fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Each <strong>gender-specific sober living home</strong> can host up to six clients at a time, two per room, as well as one live-in manager.</p> <p>Cornerstone also <strong>contracts with a certified yoga instructor</strong>, a music therapist, and a Gold’s Gym. Residential clients may also enjoy trips to the beach, movies, and other seasonal attractions.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The four alumni surveyed by Rehabs.com to date gave <strong>highly positive reviews</strong>. Alumni polled on specific aspects of Cornerstone gave high marks to nearly all metrics, offering four or perfect five-star ratings for holistic offerings, staff experience and training, and exercise and leisure options. C.B. wrote in a representative review that his recovery was a “good overall experience,” and added: “Detox is great, classes and information was very helpful. Got to go work out.”</p> <p><strong>Reviews from alumni on secondary sites were more mostly positive</strong>. One counselor commended the “high level of privacy and loyalty to patients” and gave four- or five-star ratings to every category surveyed.
