<p><strong>ABOUT ROGERS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL - WEST ALLIS</strong></p> <p>One of 12 facilities operated by Roberts Behavioral Health, a nationwide treatment provider, Rogers Memorial Hospital of West Allis, Wis., a suburb of Milwaukee, provides a <strong>full continuum of treatment programs for adults and youth struggling with chemical dependency, primary psychiatric illnesses, and eating disorders.</strong> In addition, this is one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/WI17.pdf" target="_blank">97 (35.5 percent)</a> Wisconsin facilities with a programming track for <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring mental health disorders.</a> The hospital provides inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). If necessary, the facility is one of the only <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/WI17.pdf" target="_blank">16 (5.9 percent)</a> in the state that also provides <strong>medically-supported detoxification services.</strong></p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Upon admission, clients may participate in an initial behavioral and mental health assessment to determine an appropriate level of care. If the individual requires monitoring and structure to acquire mental stability and/or sobriety, the individual may be referred to one of the hospital's inpatient programs. The hospital provides age-specific inpatient programs for both adults and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/is-my-child-just-experimenting/" target="_blank">adolescents.</a> </p> <p>Rogers Memorial Hospital utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities to treat its patients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). During inpatient treatment, clients participate in a <strong>structured schedule of individual, group, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help" target="_blank">family counseling sessions</a>.</strong> Clients struggling with anxiety-related disorders may also participate in exposure and response prevention (ERP) and prolonged exposure therapy. Clients may attend 12-step meetings, study fellowship literature, and perform associated "step-work" throughout treatment. In addition to counseling and 12-step immersion, clients may attend educational workshops on relapse prevention, trigger avoidance, and coping skills. </p> <p>In addition to traditional treatment methods, Rogers Memorial Hospital incorporates a <strong>range of experiential treatment methods, including art therapy, horticulture therapy, music therapy, recreational and movement therapy, and pet therapy.</strong> The hospital also facilitates one-on-one consultations with chaplains, worship services, and spiritual counseling. </p> <p>Once a client is stabilized, clinicians may recommend that the individual transition into a less-intensive level of care. Rogers Memorial Hospital provides a range of disorder- and age-specific outpatient programs, including specialized programs for adolescents, dual diagnosed individuals, individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) and anxiety, and individuals struggling with a primary substance abuse disorders. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Rogers Memorial Hospital employs a multidisciplinary staff of physicians, <strong>adult, child, and adolescent psychologists, clinical psychologists, licensed professional counselors, psychiatric nurses, and dietitians.</strong></p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Rogers Memorial Hospital houses its clients in semi-private bedrooms, and inpatient care ensures clients 24/7 access to nursing and medical attention. Determined on a case-by-case basis, clients may be allowed to leave the campus for recreational activities within the community that support clinical goals. The hospital features homelike communal rooms for recreation and leisure activities and may accommodate dietary needs and preferences. The sole loved one polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave the facility a <strong>three out of five-star rating for its overall cleanliness and upkeep.</strong></p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Although Rehabs.com has yet to receive alumni feedback to date, secondary sources revealed mixed alumni opinions.
