Highlights

Therapy Services — A student’s treatment team includes clinicians, teachers and residential staff. Formal therapy is more traditional in scope but not in venue. Counseling sessions may occur in the therapist’s office or out walking or working on the ranch. Therapy includes weekly individual, family and group sessions which take roughly 20 hours each week.
Psychiatric Services — A licensed psychiatrist is on staff and meets with students weekly. He assesses and adjusts medications as needed. Our psychiatrist is also available to discuss with students any other areas of concern.
Single Gender Hybrid — Discovery Ranch’s single gender hybrid model has a very simple definition but is much more complex to operate than either the single gender or pure coed programs.
