It is one of 206 facilities in Texas with a program specifically for women, and one of 198 facilities with a men-only program. Children up to the age of five and a half may reside with their mothers. There's dedicated programming for clients' children while their mothers attend treatment.

The Williams House provides treatment for adult men. Treatment includes individual and group counseling, relapse prevention training, goal setting, and assistance in locating housing upon completion of the program. During treatment, family involvement is heavily encouraged. That way, clients have a stronger support network after treatment.

The outpatient program lasts up to six months, and likewise focuses. Groups are offered three evenings per week, and individual counseling to accommodate client schedules. ADACCV also has an aftercare program, which hosts regular recovery meetings, such as alumni groups and 12-step meetings.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The treatment team includes licensed chemical dependency counselors and numerous technicians. Staff members have extensive experience in treating addiction clients in a variety of modalities. The facility is accredited by Medicaid as well as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The single alum polled by Rehabs.com about the level of training and respect found in its counseling staff to date gave the facility five out of five stars.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

ADACCV's residential facilities are designed to be more homelike than clinical. Staff members indicated that they generally enjoyed their jobs. "One of the pros is that you get to educate children on substance use and abuse. You really have to have a heart for teaching and for the community," a reviewer wrote on Glassdoor.

FINANCING

ADACCV is one of the 272 facilities in Texas that accepts Medicaid. The facility also offers financial assistance, and some clients may be eligible for state funding. Residential treatment costs $145/day, and the fee must be paid upfront. Since the duration of residential treatment averages 45 days, that means an upfront payment of $6,525. Outpatient treatment costs $1,000 for a 14-week program or $2,000 for a 26-week program.

CONCLUSION

ADACCV reaches out to the community in order to provide chances for preventative care as well as fundraising initiatives. Every year, the facility hosts a Rally and Run designed to give clients the chance to give back to the community. There are also events specifically for youth as well.

[1] Google Reviews
[2] https://www.facebook.com/pg/ADACCV/reviews/?ref=page_internal
[3] https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Alcohol-&-Drug-Abuse-Council-For-the-Concho-Valley/reviews
[4] https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Alcohol-and-Drug-Abuse-Council-for-the-Concho-Valley-Reviews-E1324346.htm
