<p><strong>ABOUT FOUNDATIONS NASHVILLE</strong></p> <p>Foundations Nashville is located in Nashville, Tenn. and provides <strong>outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs</strong> for adults seeking treatment for substance abuse and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. It is one of Tennessee’s <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/TN17.pdf" target="_blank">194 outpatient treatment facilities</a> for substance abuse. Detox is not available on-site.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The treatment process at Foundations Nashville begins with a comprehensive evaluation. This evaluation provides insight for administrators and clinical staff members to develop an <strong>individualized treatment plan</strong>. Once completed, clients can begin the treatment process in the intensive outpatient program or the regular outpatient program. </p> <p>According to a 2017 SAMHSA survey, Tennessee offers <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/TN17.pdf" target="_blank">116 intensive outpatient programs</a>. Clients who are diagnosed with co-occurring disorders generally begin their treatment in Foundation Nashville’s intensive outpatient program. The <strong>IOP generally lasts six to eight weeks</strong>, depending on the client’s needs. </p> <p>Foundations Nashville uses a <strong>holistic and evidence-based</strong> treatment methodology. The treatment plans include a variety of traditional talk therapy methods combined with experiential therapies. Clients participate in individual counseling sessions where <strong>cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)</strong> and <strong>dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)</strong> are used to address addiction and a variety of behavioral health conditions.</p> <p>Once the client completes one of the primary treatment methods, they may continue treatment through Foundations' <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> program. Clients participate in <strong>weekly aftercare groups</strong> as well as special events planned for alumni to reinforce sober living skills. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Foundations Nashville is staffed by a licensed professional counselor and mental health service provider. Volunteers, program alumni, and administrative team members also assist with day-to-day operations. The facility is a part of the <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/cbhsq-reports/2017_NSSATS.pdf" target="_blank">20 percent of U.S. facilities</a> accredited by the Joint Commission. </p> <p>The one former alum and the one loved one polled by Rehabs.com to date both gave the Nashville location five out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience. When asked, on a scale from one to five, if they would recommend the facility, the alum gave a rating of four stars. "This facility was very supportive to me and my family members.
