Clients who require medical stabilization may be referred to an inpatient program within the network. The abstinence-based program is centered on 12-step practices and principles.

Throughout treatment, clients attend regular 12-step meetings, participate in Big Book studies, and perform associated step work. Family members are highly encouraged to attend 12-step meetings to better understand the disease of addiction and process of recovery.

In addition to 12-step immersion, the intensive outpatient programs focus on relapse prevention through a schedule of educational classes and group counseling sessions. Clients attend these sessions multiple times each week. Although similar in design and purpose, the educational and counseling sessions incorporate age-relevant issues to tailor sessions to its adult or adolescent clientele. In Tennessee, the facility is among the 22.1 percent of facilities to offer specialized programming for adolescents.

Bradford Health Services of Clarksville also offers continuing care services to assist its clients upon program completion. Additionally, alumni reported to Rehabs.com that many staff members are themselves in recovery.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Providing maximum five-star ratings for family participation, counseling options, and the staff's level of training and experience, the sole alum polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing indicated that the treatment program was highly effective. However, this anonymous alum provided poor ratings for affordability and the inclusion of holistic offerings, which reflects the program’s strong foundation in 12-Step. Reporting seven years of sobriety, the anonymous alum remarked to Rehabs.com that the program really made a difference. “All the counselors are prior addicts so they understand,” this former client claimed.

Secondary reviews were also positive.
