<p><strong>ABOUT FAITH HOME, INC. - ABBEVILLE WOMEN’S FACILITY</strong></p> <p>Since 1966, Faith Home, Inc. has provided <strong>residential Christian addiction recovery programming</strong> rooted in the belief that “solutions to drug and alcohol abuse can be found through faith in God along with the 12-step programs of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Al-Anon.” </p> <p>Today, the nonprofit runs three residential facilities, of which one, in Abbeville, S.C., is <strong>dedicated solely to treating women</strong>. Treatment involves Bible study, early morning devotions, <strong>12-step meetings</strong>, and regular church services. All residents also adhere to a <strong>daily work program</strong>, referred to as “physical therapy,” which includes yard work, kitchen work, house cleaning, and facility and grounds maintenance.</p> <p>Recreational and social activities include <strong>basketball, hiking, fishing, fitness, ping-pong, foosball, choir</strong>, and acts of community service, such as volunteering at the local food bank and nursing homes. At designated days and times, the facility invites families to join their loved ones in treatment.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>There currently is no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff. The organization points out that it is not a medical facility, suggesting that it does not have medical doctors on-site. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Photos posted on the facility’s website depict an attractive, roadside clapboard building surrounded by trees and green space for devotions and group meetings.
