The facility does not conduct physical examinations, psychiatric assessments, or blood work services.</p> <p>During outpatient programs, clients are introduced to the philosophies and practices of the <strong>12-step model of recovery</strong> and are expected to perform accompanying “step-work.” Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), clinicians also facilitate counseling sessions in <strong>group, individual, and family settings</strong>.</p> <p>In addition, clients participate in <strong>classroom discussions</strong> with others in recovery, helping clients to learn techniques for controlling impulses, avoiding triggers, and other <strong>relapse prevention strategies</strong>. Lasting three hours, IOP sessions are held in the morning and evening to accommodate client schedules. </p> <p>Depending on the client’s needs, referrals for medication management and psychiatric care may be incorporated into care plans.
