<p><strong>ABOUT FOUNDATIONS WELLNESS CENTER OF PENNSYLVANIA</strong></p> <p>Located in York, Penn., Foundations Wellness Center of Pennsylvania offers a range of services for individuals who are struggling with addiction including <strong>intensive outpatient programs, outpatient treatment, and <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/PA16.pdf" target="_blank">partial hospitalization programs</strong>, which about 15 percent</a> of all treatment centers in Pennsylvania offer. Each client may participate in a range of approaches including <strong>trauma resolution, faith-based, family wellness, and employee assistance.</strong> </p> <p>During partial hospitalization programs (PHP), clients are in an environment with 24-hour care, and are provided an extensive relapse prevention plan. Clients participate in more than 40 hours of treatment each week and live in a separate housing component. Treatment typically includes both <strong>group and individual therapy, mental health psychiatric evaluations, life-skill education, and recovery education</strong>. </p> <p>Individuals in the intensive outpatient program (IOP) attend between nine and 21 hours of treatment each week. Like PHP, programming usually includes group and individual counseling, <strong>life skills, and employment assistance, and resume building.</strong> This program is designed to help clients prepare for a sober life. </p> <p>Following IOP, the final phase is outpatient treatment, which is between one to three hours of treatment a week. <strong>Outpatient treatment is used as follow-up care to ensure clients are transitioning back into the community well</strong>, and offers <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/https://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> recommendations. Programming includes individual counseling sessions and participating in the alumni program. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Foundations Wellness Center's website notes the treatment team includes therapists and a clinical director.
