<p><strong>ABOUT TURNING POINT - FREEDOM CENTER FOR WOMEN</strong></p> <p>Located in Franklin, Penn., Turning Point provides <strong>detox, short-term inpatient care, and long-term residential services to men and women struggling with addiction.</strong> This review focuses on Turning Point's Freedom Center for Women, which is a center just for women. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, <strong>medically monitored detox is usually four days.</strong> The program is designed to relieve withdrawal symptoms and ensure a safe detox. </p> <p>Turning Point offers Suboxone for detox from heroin and other opiates. Clients begin assessment, treatment process, and transition into a short-term treatment program during detox. </p> <p>Short-term inpatient treatment is individualized to fit each client's needs, and typically lasts 14 to 28 days. The <strong>length of treatment ranges from 90 to 120 days.</strong> </p> <p>In this program, the treatment team puts an emphasis on relapse prevention along with <strong>life skills such as completion of a GED, job search, financial management, parenting classes, and anger management.</strong> </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center's website notes the treatment team includes medical doctors, licensed nurses, addition counselors, and a consulting psychologist staff. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, Freedom Center for women is located about three miles from Turning Point's main campus. <strong>The women's center has space for 28 women.</strong> The one alum polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing wrote the Freedom Center "was very homey feeling." </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The one former client surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided a mostly negative review, and wrote she wouldn't "go back again." </p> <p>She gave one out of five stars for treatment effectiveness and accommodations and amenities. </p> <p>"They had the longterm and the sort term people staying in the same house but there was alotnof favoritism with the long term girls. It made feel like I was not good enough... They preach humility and kindness but they show that its only when u conform to what they want u to be," she wrote. </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>The center's website indicates insurance is accepted at Turning Point.</p>
