<p><strong>ABOUT NEW LIFE RENEWAL SERVICES</strong></p> <p>Located in Cranberry Township, Penn., New Life Renewal Services offers <strong>outpatient-based treatment</strong> for individuals struggling with <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/why-are-opiate-addicts-so-hard-to-treat/" target="_blank">opioid dependency</a>, such as heroin, OxyContin, and Vicodin. The facility is among the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/PA17.pdf" target="_blank">79 facilities in the state</a> that offers an Opioid Treatment Program (OTPs).</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to New Life Renewal Services' website, the treatment center offers <strong>Suboxone maintenance treatment</strong> for people struggling with opiate addiction, offered at just <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/PA17.pdf" target="_blank">165 (32.9 percent)</a> Pennsylvania treatment centers. The evidence-based medication is proven-effective in minimizing the discomfort of withdrawal and curbing cravings. </p> <p>During participation, clients are responsible to attend all scheduled appointments, <strong>participate in individual and group counseling</strong>, attend NA/AA meetings, take medication as prescribed, and be respectful of the center's staff and other clients. <strong>The length of treatment may vary</strong> depending on the client's individual needs and progress. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>New Life Renewal Services's website indicates the treatment team includes doctors and staff who have years of experience with addiction medication and recovery. The two alumni polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave three and one out of five stars respectively for the staff's level of training and experience, and a three- and one-star ratings for the counseling options offered. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The two alumni surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided mixed feedback. One alum gave five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, writing, "Treatment effectiveness and accomodations were good." In addition, he awarded four-star ratings to exercise and leisure opportunities, holistic offerings, the level of family participation, and the center's admissions and discharge procedures. </p> <p>The other alum gave three stars for treatment effectiveness, noted there were no strengths of the center, and that the staff didn't listen to clients. One-star ratings were given for holistic offerings, and this former client strongly disagreed that treatment was worth the cost or that he would recommend this center to others.</p> <p>Of the nine individuals who left Google Reviews for New Life Renewal Services at the time of this writing, five provided one-star ratings, and four awarded five-star ratings, for an average rating of <strong>2.8 out of five stars</strong> overall.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small></p> <p>The individuals who provided positive feedback praised the center's staff and positive environment. "I'm so Thankful for the doctors at this office," an alum wrote in a representative review. "The care and understanding that they've shown me means so much. The best decision of my life was the day I started seeing the doctors at New Life."</p> <p>On the other hand, the five negative reviewers all touched upon the <strong>lack of staff professionalism</strong>. "Unprofessional and Unreliable," J.B. summarized, while K.C. agreed, writing: "Staff was condescending and rude."</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, New Life Renewal Services accepts all major insurance plans.
