<p><strong>ABOUT RED ROCK BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES — OKLAHOMA CITY</strong></p> <p>Operating 23 facilities throughout Oklahoma, Red Rock Behavioral Health Services offers a range of programs and services for <strong>adults and adolescents seeking treatment for chemical dependency and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>.</strong> With its headquarters in Oklahoma City, Red Rock offers <strong>outpatient treatment programs</strong>, as well as a <strong>residential program for pregnant women and new mothers</strong> involved in the criminal justice system. In addition, Red Rock operates multiple crisis intervention units.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Upon admission, clients undergo an initial psychiatric and, if necessary, substance abuse assessment to determine an individualized treatment plan. Clients may attend up to three sessions for clinicians to complete the assessment. Once it is complete, a treatment team will begin the treatment process and take several sessions to confirm and adjust the client’s treatment plan accordingly. </p> <p>If stabilization is necessary, the client may be referred to one of Red Rock’s crisis intervention units. Typically lasting between <strong>five and eight days</strong>, stabilization involves daily therapeutic activities, such as individual, group, and family counseling, as well as <strong>psychiatric evaluations and medication management</strong>. Once a client is stable, they are referred to an appropriate level of care and community-based resources.</p> <p>Clients participate in <strong>individual, family, and group counseling sessions</strong>, as well as psychoeducation classes and skills workshops, to help develop strategies to sustain a sober lifestyle. <strong>HIV/AIDS testing, education, and counseling is also available</strong>, and clients with a dual diagnosis may also receive ongoing medication management.</p> <p>In Oklahoma City, Red Rock also operates Jordan’s Crossing, <strong>a residential facility for pregnant women and young mothers who are also involved in the criminal justice system.</strong> Programming involves a rigorous schedule of individual, group, and family therapy, <strong>recreational and art therapy</strong>, and educational classes on relapse prevention, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and parenting.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Red Rock Behavioral Health Services employs a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, licensed professional counselors, care coordinators, social workers, nurses, and mental health technicians. The facility is CARF accredited.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Red Rock operates a <strong>55-bed adult crisis intervention unit</strong> in the community of Norman, as well as a <strong>10-bed adult unit</strong> in the community of Clinton. A crisis intervention unit for adolescents (ages 10 to 17) is located in Oklahoma City.
