<p><strong>ABOUT CLEAN ACRES</strong></p> <p>Clean Acres is a <strong>farm-based and gender-separate residential recovery program for men and women</strong> in northern Cincinnati, Ohio.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Prospective applicants must be <strong>substance-free for at least 14 days</strong> prior to beginning treatment. The recovery program is broken down into three separate phases: “Sowing Seeds,” “Seedlings,” and “Reaping Harvest.”</p> <p>Sowing Seeds, the first part of the program, lasts for about <strong>30 days</strong>. During their time starting the program, clients will spend time acclimating to their recovery environment and familiarizing themselves with the rules and expectations of treatment.</p> <p>In the next phase, Seedlings, clients begin participation in a more structured treatment program. Focus is placed on <strong>essays, readings, IOP, and 12-step programs</strong> in order to being a foundation of recovery. </p> <p>In Reaping Harvesy, the third and final phase of treatment, clients take on leadership roles in the recovery community and in their own homes. Obtaining and maintaining employment is also a critical part of this phase of treatment. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The program for women is led by a recovery coordinator with prior recovery experience and an Associates degree in chemical dependency counseling.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Set on a <strong>15-acre working farm</strong>, the men’s residence has a horse stable, chickens, and a garden. The home comes with standard amenities like a kitchen and a common area with couches and a TV.</p> <p>The women’s home can accommodate <strong>eight women</strong> in a more residential area. Peer support and a focus on community is central in the women's program. </p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>In the only Rehabs.com survey response to date, proud parent Donna gave a perfect 10 stars in indicating how strongly she’d recommend the program to others, as well as five stars for metrics measuring family programming, the staff’s level of training and experience, and the counseling options. “Wonderful country folks. And it is just for men.
