Clients with psychiatric disorders, medical conditions requiring constant attention, histories of violent or aggressive behavior, and registered sex offenders are not eligible to receive treatment at ARCA. The facility routinely hosts community guest lectures in order to provide educational and motivational help to clients. </p> <p>Families are included in the treatment program through weekly <strong>multi-family therapy and family education groups</strong>. The facility also has <strong>bilingual counselors</strong> available for Spanish-speaking clients and offers post-discharge resources such as physicals and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> referrals for clients who successfully complete the program. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team at ARCA includes an executive director, a clinical supervisor, a facilities manager, a finance administrator, physicians, nurses, and other support staff. <strong>The staff to client ratio is 3:1</strong>. Meals are provided on-site starting at 7:30 a.m. and clients are expected to be in their rooms for bedtime by 11:00 p.m. Participants in ARCA’s residential program are required to complete chores as a part of their stay, as well as homework assignments and recreational activities. Each day ends with an on-site <strong>Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA)</strong> meeting. Clients at ARCA are not allowed to have visitors, but are able to use the phone during free periods.
