Responding to the survey about the facility, E.A. awarded most of the metrics positive ratings: four out of five stars for 12-Step, affordability, counseling options, family participation, staff experience and training, and treatment for co-occurring disorders; and three stars for facility cleanliness and upkeep and likelihood to recommend.

However, the alum assigned a subpar two stars to connectivity/visitor policy and holistic offerings. Asked about the facility’s strengths, the reviewer cited the “methadone program” and, on the opposite end, cited “not enough staff” as a weakness. E.A. summed up the experience at SouthLight as: “It helped me at the time.”

On secondary sites, the center received mixed reviews skewed to the positive to date: four stars based on four reviews on Google; one star based on one review on Yelp; and five stars based on two reviews on Facebook, which the organization can manage. [1] [2] [3]

Of the total seven reviews, five were perfect five stars and the remaining two were one star each. Only a one-star reviewer, J.G., left commentary about being treated like a criminal and lack of communication among recovery staff members, writing: “1 star is required but not deserved.”

WHAT STAFF SAY

At the time of this writing, current and former employees recorded mediocre impressions on average on secondary sites about SouthLight Healthcare: 2.9 out of five stars based on 20 reviews on Indeed; and 3.2 stars based on 13 reviews on Glassdoor. [4] [5] Positive reviewers praised the caring environment and diverse, devoted staff who strive to help clients with their substance abuse services and mental health conditions, expressed in a representative five-star review.

“Supportive and informative work place addressing mental health and substance abuse needs.” Negative reviews cited a lack of organization, poor senior leadership and consequential high staff turnover as weaknesses. Of note, the positive reviewer referenced above summed up the working experience. “The hardest part of the job was seeing the client want to change but the addiction would have the best of them. The most enjoyable part was seeing the individuals that work hard in recovery to maintain their sobriety.”

FINANCING

Weekly and daily fees for the Opioid Treatment Program are $77 per week or $12 per day for methadone, and $112 per week or $17 per day for buprenorphine.
