It's gender-specific residential treatment at Healing Transitions is peer-based and relies on a social model of recovery. The 12-step program is used in up to 73% of treatment facilities in the U.S., both as a method of treatment and a continuing care method.

During the second and third phases, called the Commit to Recovery I and II Tracks, clients begin to earn privileges for added work responsibilities such as kitchen prep, facility maintenance, security detail, and groundwork.

Clients may also participate in job readiness and life skills classes through Wake Technical Community College, and are eventually tasked with finding employment. Job training is only offered at 38.6 percent of treatment facilities in the U.S..

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Healing Transitions is headed by a licensed clinical social worker and certified substance abuse counselor who has been working in the addiction treatment and recovery field since 1993.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Healing Transitions offers services in two gender-specific facilities.
