ABOUT FAYETTEVILLE TREATMENT CENTER

Fayetteville Treatment Center is operated by Colonial Management Group, LP, which is now New Season. The organization runs about 70 outpatient substance abuse clinics around the US, many of which are on the East Coast. New Season specializes in providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults struggling with opioid addiction. The Fayetteville Treatment Center, which is located in the center of the North Carolina city, is one of just 47 facilities in North Carolina (less than four percent of all facilities in the state) to offer a dedicated opioid treatment program.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

The center treats adults 18 years and older for opioid use disorder with methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone. The facility also offesr a wide range of counseling services, along with medically-supervised withdrawal, and referrals.

The recovery process begins with a physical exam conducted by the facility's medical director. Lab work conducted as part of the physical might result in recommendations for medical care, if needed.

After admission into the program, all clients complete a psychosocial assessment, which is used to design an individualized treatment plan. During the course of treatment, this plan is reviewed periodically to make sure it still serves the client effectively.

Each client is assigned a personal counselor, and must also submit to random urinalysis testing. As noted, when appropriate, referrals are provided for additional medical care as well as dental care, educational or vocational training, employment assistance, pastoral or religious counseling, support groups, and mental health counseling.

Treatment occurs in two main phases. In the induction phase during the first few weeks of treatment, clients are monitored regularly to determine the appropriateness of their initial medication and level. In this initial phase, clients meet with their counselor frequently to stay committed to treatment and create effective change. The maintenance phase achieves a safe, steady state of medication and a continuous feedback loop regarding the withdrawal process. Clients continue to meet with their counselor to make strong progress in the many aspects of their life to achieve well-being.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding the Fayetteville treatment staff. However, information about staff across the whole organization indicates that New Season employs physicians, nurses, licensed clinical social workers, master’s-level counselors, and other mental health and medical professionals.
