Residents also participate in an array of activities that support <strong>whole-person recovery and integration into the local community</strong>. </p> <p>To support self-reliance and a successful transition back into the community, residents also receive <strong>life skills training</strong>, case management, as well as on- and off-site services that <strong>support employment</strong> and transitional or permanent housing plans.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Sundram Manor employs counselors with master's degrees or bachelor's degrees with prior experience, as well as case managers, nurses, and a support staff. In N.Y., <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/report_3059/ShortReport-3059.pdf" target="_blank">98.6 percent</a> of all substance abuse treatment facilities have higher education requirements for staff. Other treatment staff members include counselors associates with Qualified Health Professional certifications.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The large 17-bed house, located in a residential neighborhood, offers <strong>semi-private rooms</strong> and recreation spaces. Meals are shared on-site in an open-design dining room. Website photographs depict a comfortable, if simply furnished, residence with a deck and backyard. Residents have access to transportation, including a nearby public bus route. Staff are on-site at all times.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has yet to receive alumni feedback to date.
