PETER’S ADDICTION RECOVERY CENTER – OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION</strong></p> <p>A division of St. Peter’s Hospital, St. Peter’s Addiction Recovery Center (SPARC) offers a range of treatment services for individuals struggling with <strong>substance abuse and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</strong></a>. The <strong>outpatient facility</strong> in Albany, one of six SPARC clinics in New York, offers <strong>treatment services for adults</strong>. Program alumni also have access to SPARC’s active <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank"><strong>alumni group</strong></a>.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>SPARC’s treatment team includes behavioral health counselors, activities therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and recreational therapists. The program also has interns and volunteers who have at least one year of sobriety.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The one alum polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this review gave the center’s treatment effectiveness five out of five stars and shared mostly positive feedback regarding their experience. Happy with the results,” one loved one wrote. Loved ones were impressed with the failicty's family participation policies, which had an average rating of four out of five stars. The facility’s cleanliness and affordability were also rated highly with respective ratings of 3.86 and 3.71 stars. </p> <p>In particular, the loved ones praised the staff's attentiveness to the patient's needs. “The Staff pays close attention to you needs and is willing to go the extra yard to help you when you need it,” one loved one wrote. The staff's level of training and experience was given an average rating of four stars by the loved ones polled at time of writing. </p> <p>Loved ones indicated a lack satisfaction with the program’s holistic offerings, which received an average rating of 2.43 stars. Additionally, loved one E.M. was disappointed in the center’s medication management and approach to continuing care. “He only was allowed 3 days and when he left he had to find his own doctor that would continue with the suboxone they started giving him in the clinic. So he left with know follow up!!” they wrote. </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to its website, SPARC <strong>accepts Medicaid</strong> and most major insurance plans.
