Those needing admission into the residential unit interview with the intake coordinator and head nurse. </p> <p>Detoxification is available for clients in need. A <strong>social detox model</strong> is used to treat clients along with 24/7 monitoring. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) utilizing <strong>Suboxone</strong> is also available for those struggling with <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/why-are-opiate-addicts-so-hard-to-treat/" target="_blank">opioid addiction.</a></p> <p>Clients typically stay <strong>30 days</strong> in the organization's residential program, where they will participate in group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, <strong>12-step meetings</strong>, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help/" target="_blank">family workshops.</a> </p> <p>Outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are evidence-based and incorporate <strong>individual and group therapy</strong>, 12-Step meetings, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Clients also participate in anger management, health and fitness activities, <strong>grief and trauma counseling</strong>, and family education.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Santa Fe Recovery Center's website states that it offers a <strong>1:6 counselor-to-client ratio</strong> and a 1:12 direct care staff-to-client ratio. Staff members include a medical doctor, masters-level therapists and art therapists, and licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselors. Former client E.S. referred to treatment as "fail proof" and staff as "Amazing" and "caring." "The Counselors truly had their clients best interest at heart," E.S. wrote. "A day never went by that we weren't being encouraged." She provided four-star ratings for holistic offerings and extracurricular activities, and five-star ratings for level of staff support and the visitation policies.
