<p><strong>ABOUT ALL ACCESS MENTAL HEALTH (AAMH) IN PRINCETON, NJ</strong></p> <p>Located in Princeton, N.J., All Access Mental Health (AAMH) is a private, nonprofit mental health center that provides a wide <strong>variety of behavioral health care to people of all ages.</strong> AAMH provides <strong>outpatient treatment</strong> to people with mental health disorders and/or <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. </p> <p>All Access Mental Health also <strong>offers services to non-English speaking Latinos.</strong></p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the center’s website, the goal of outpatient services is to improve or stabilize each patient’s well-being. Treatment usually includes <strong>evaluations, consultations, and medication management</strong> if needed. Along with outpatient mental illness help, the center provides treatment related to co-occurring disorders. </p> <p>The partial care program is a <strong>day-treatment program that provides mental health and substance abuse care</strong>. Clients in this program work with a personal counselor to develop an <strong>individualized treatment plan</strong>, including psychiatric evaluation and consultation and medical monitoring. Families are encouraged to participate in treatment.</p> <p>The facility also runs a <strong>behavioral health home</strong> promoting healthy lifestyles in conjunction with treatment. Along with <strong>individual, group, and family counseling</strong>, the facility offers a wellness room with fitness equipment, an <strong>on-site pharmacy</strong>, and group activities including <strong>yoga, smoking cessation, and music education</strong>. </p> <p>AAMH provides employment support and vocational assessments. The center also helps clients find housing, and offers an <strong>anger management program</strong>, which includes 12 group meetings.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>AAMH’s website states the treatment team includes Master's Level social workers, counselors, registered nurses, psychiatric advanced practice nurses, medical assistants, and psychiatrists.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The one alum that was questioned by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided a mostly positive review. The anonymous alum gave the center five out of five stars for a number of categories including the staff’s experience, family participation, and when asked if they would recommend AAMH. They wrote to Rehabs.com: “It's a nice place. The staff wasn't great. Weather it gives you the right care or not.”</p> <p>The two people who left Google reviews for AAMH at the time of this writing gave the center a perfect five stars, with no comments.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small></p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>On Glassdoor, seven current and former employees to date rated AAMH an average 2.7 out of five stars,<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small> while three employees on Indeed rated the facility an average three out of five stars,<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-3"><sup>[3]</sup></a></small> suggesting <strong>mixed responses</strong>. Employees praised the <strong>family-like atmosphere</strong> but complained about <strong>bureaucracy and upper management</strong>.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to the center’s website, AAMH accepts most insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare.
