<p><strong>ABOUT SERENITY PLACE</strong></p> <p>Serenity Place NCADD Affiliate, located in Manchester, N.H., offers <strong>inpatient treatment</strong> to individuals and families struggling with <strong>behavioral health concerns</strong>. Since then, the facility has moved into a larger facility with an additional men’s transitional living facility added. The facility now offers a range of inpatient and outpatient options but, the facility’s website does not provide any additional details regarding the treatment options. According to the facility’s Yelp listing, which it has claimed, “Services include detox, alcohol education for DWI offenders, and transitional living for men. Starting in July 2012 we will also offer transitional living for women and Intensive Outpatient Treatment.”<small class="footnote"><a href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small></p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment’s management team includes a <strong>chief executive officer, a clinical director, a controller, and a program director</strong>. However, he strongly disagreed when asked if there were many counseling options to choose from depending on the client’s preference; if the facility was adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems in addition to substance use disorders; and if the facility staff were experienced and well-trained. </p> <p>He stated that the facility was “easy to sneak out” of and felt that the facility needed to improve on “Everything. Mostly staff.” Over all, the alum indicated that he would not recommend this facility to a friend or loved one who was considering rehab. He added commentary writing, “This place proves that you can get clean In the worst place imaginable but if you want a new way of life you can get and stay clean.
